Muffy Mendoza’s journey began with a powerful question: How can Black mothers thrive, not just survive? This sparked Brown Mamas, a movement-turned-organization empowering thousands of mothers to find their voices and build stronger families.

A graduate of the Facebook Community Accelerator, Muffy is scaling her impact by pursuing an executive certification in Social Impact Strategy at the Wharton School of Business. Her expertise lies in blending storytelling, data, and cultural competency to create strategies that drive real results.

From guiding mothers to lead in the Pittsburgh Study to helping the Black Women’s Policy Agenda engage over 250 participants in a citywide study and converting thousands into users of hellobabypgh.org,
